എടവണ്ണപ്പാറ; ചാലിയപ്പുറം ഗവ ഹൈസ്കൂളിൽ സാമൂഹ്യ ശാസ്ത്ര ക്ലബിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ഹിരോഷിമ ദിനത്തിൽ യുദ്ധകാലം കുട്ടികൾ അധികമായി കൊലചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്നതിനെതിരെ പ്രതിഷേധിച്ച് മെഴുക് തിരി തെളിച്ച് യുദ്ധ വിരുദ്ധ പരിപാടികൾ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. “Say no to War ,We stand for peace “ സമാധാന സന്ദേശമുയർത്തിയാണ് ഹിരോഷിമ ദിനം സാമുചിതമായി ആചരിച്ചത്, സമാധാനത്തത്തിനായി ഒരു തിരി വെട്ടം, സഡാക്കോ കൊക്ക്, പോസ്റ്റർ രചന, യുദ്ധ വിരുദ്ധ പ്രതിജ്ഞ, വീഡിയോ പ്രദർശനം എന്നിയും സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. പ്രധാന അധ്യാപിക ഇ ആർ വിജി ഉത്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. പി ടി എ പ്രസിഡന്റ് അലി അക്ബർ ബാവ മുഖ്യ അതിഥിയായി, സീനിയർ അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് ഷൈനി ടീച്ചർ ആദ്ധ്യക്ഷം വഹിച്ചു. ചടങ്ങിൽ എസ് ആർ. ജി കൺവീനർ കെ പി ഫൈസൽ സ്വാഗതം പറഞ്ഞു.

“We Want a Sweet Life, Not Death” – Say No to War, We Stand for Peace
Edavannappara: On the occasion of Hiroshima Day, Chaliyapuram Government High School observed a peace campaign led by the Social Science Club, protesting against the killing of children during wartime. The students lit candles and organized anti-war activities, spreading the message: “Say No to War, We Stand for Peace.”
The event was meaningfully observed with symbolic activities like A Candle for Peace, Sadako’s Origami Cranes, Poster Designing, Anti-war Pledge, and Video Presentations. Headmistress E.R. Viji inaugurated the program. PTA President Ali Akbar Bava was the chief guest, and Senior Assistant Shiny Teacher presided over the event. SRG Convener K.P. Faisal delivered the welcome address.
Teachers Rajani, Babu, Staff Secretary Snehaprabha, and club conveners Nasheeda, Manjusha, Jyothi, Sreejini, Sreenath, Lijesh, Nisar, Jaison, and Mujeeb conveyed their felicitations and support for the event.
