വാഴക്കാട്: മഹാത്മാഗാന്ധി വിഭാവനം ചെയ്ത ഗ്രാമ സ്വരാജ് ആശയത്തിന്റെ ജാഗ്രതാപരമായ പ്രയോഗമാണ് വാഴക്കാട് ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തിൽ നടന്ന ജനസഭയെന്ന് മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലാ പഞ്ചായത്ത് മെമ്പർ പി.കെ.സി. അബ്ദുറഹ്മാൻ അഭിപ്രായപ്പെട്ടു.
വാഴക്കാട് ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്ത് ഭരണസമിതിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ, ജനങ്ങളുടെ ദൈനംദിന പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ നേരിട്ട് കേട്ടറിഞ്ഞ് പരിഹാരമാകുന്നതിനായി നടത്തുന്ന മൂന്നാമത് ജനസഭയുടെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം നിർവ്വഹിച്ചുകൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പ്രതികരണം.
“സാമൂഹ്യത്തിന്റെ അടിത്തട്ടിലുള്ള സാധാരണ ജനങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയവേദനകൾക്ക് മനസ്സു തുറന്ന് സമീപിക്കുകയും, അതിന് ശാശ്വത പരിഹാരങ്ങൾ തേടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ തലത്തിലുള്ള ഇടപെടലുകൾ കാഴ്ചയുള്ള ജനാധിപത്യത്തിന്റെ മികവാണ്,” അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്തു.

Vazhakkad Grama Panchayat’s Janasabha is the Realization of Gandhi’s Vision of Gram Swaraj: P.K.C. Abdurahman
Vazhakkad: The Janasabha (People’s Assembly) held at Vazhakkad Grama Panchayat is a vigilant implementation of the concept of Gram Swaraj envisioned by Mahatma Gandhi, said Malappuram District Panchayat Member P.K.C. Abdurahman.
He was speaking while inaugurating the third Janasabha organized under the leadership of the Vazhakkad Grama Panchayat governing committee, aimed at directly hearing and resolving the daily issues faced by the people.
“This kind of intervention, where the government opens its heart to the struggles of ordinary people at the grassroots level and seeks permanent solutions, is the true essence of a visionary democracy,” he added.
The event was presided over by Grama Panchayat President Adv. M.K. Noushad. Vice President Shameena Saleem welcomed the gathering. Standing Committee Chairpersons C.K. Rasheed, Aysha Marath, former Presidents Maliyal Abdurahman Master, K.O. Ali, and K.M.A. Rahman, political party representatives M.C. Siddique Master, Jaisal Elamaram, and Vishwan Edavannappara, as well as Cooperative Bank President Latheef C.K., offered their felicitations.
Grama Panchayat members C.P. Basheer Master, K.P. Musakkutty, Suhara V.K., Vasanthakumari, Shareefa B.C., Sarojini Ottupara, Komala K., and Sabira P.K. also actively participated and led the event.
