വാഴക്കാട് : പരാധീനതകളിൽ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുന്ന വാഴക്കാട് പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ പുതിയ കെട്ടിടം അനുവദിച്ച് സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാർ. 3. 23 കോടി രൂപ സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാറിന്റെ പ്ലാൻ ഫണ്ടിൽ നിന്നും തുക അനുവദിച്ചത്.
പഴയ പഞ്ചായത്ത് കാര്യാലയം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരുന്ന പൊട്ടിപ്പൊളിഞ്ഞ കെട്ടിടത്തിലാണ് നിലവിൽ പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷൻ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്.പലപ്പോഴും സീലിംഗ് പൊട്ടിവീഴുകയും ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്മാർക്ക് പരിക്കേൽക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന സാഹചര്യം ഉണ്ടാവാറുണ്ട്.ഇതിൻറെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാണ് പുതിയ കെട്ടിടം നിർമ്മിക്കുന്നതിന് ഭാഗമായി സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാർ മുൻകൈ എടുത്തു കൊണ്ട് കെട്ടിടം നിർമ്മിക്കാൻ ഫണ്ട് വകയിരുത്തിയത്.

New Building for Vazhakkad Police Station; ₹3.23 Crore Sanctioned by Pinarayi Government
Vazhakkad: The state government has sanctioned a new building for the Vazhakkad Police Station, which has long been struggling with inadequate facilities. An amount of ₹3.23 crore has been allocated from the government’s plan fund.
At present, the police station is functioning in the dilapidated building of the old panchayat office. On several occasions, portions of the ceiling have collapsed, causing injuries to officers working there. Taking this situation into account, the state government has stepped in and allocated funds for the construction of a new building.
